Trim Levels of the 2018 Dodge Charger

There is one sedan that sits far above the rest, especially in terms of power. This four-door muscle-car, the only one of its kind, is the Dodge Charger. Another major draw to this sedan is the eleven different trim levels that are available to choose from. Each trim gives you a different set of features that allow for more customization and individuality. The first trim level is the SXT. This trim has an optional Blacktop package which comes with a sport-tuned suspension, twenty-inch wheels, blacked-out styling elements, and a rear spoiler. The standard features include seventeen-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, keyless entry and ignition, a rearview camera, a 6-speaker sound system, a 60/40-split folding back seat, rear parking sensors, voice controls, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 7-inch touchscreen, and a power-adjustable driver seat. You’ll also find the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine, which pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

SXT Plus:
This trim level is the next step up and comes with many different package options. Those packages include the Technology Group package, the Blacktop package, and the Super Track Pak. The standard features include upgraded cloth upholstery, eighteen-inch wheels, an upgraded 6-speaker sound system, heated sport seats, Uconnect system, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, HD radio, LED fog lights, and heated mirrors.

The GT trim has very similar features to the SXT Plus. The major difference is that the GT trim comes standard with all-wheel drive, making it especially impressive during road conditions that are not deemed ideal. Some of the features include heated sport seats, upgraded cloth upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a six-speaker sound system.

GT Plus:
The GT Plus option further builds on the SXT Plus and the GT trims. It adds features like xenon headlights, blind-spot monitoring, leather upholstery, rear cross-traffic alert, heated rear seats, and ventilated sport front seats.

The next trim level is known as the R/T. This trim gives you a 5.7-liter V8 engine that packs a punch with 395 pound-feet of torque and 370 horsepower. You’ll also get features like twenty-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, transmission paddle shifters, and a sport-tuned suspension. You can also add packages, like the Plus Group, the Premium Group, and the Technology Group.

The Daytona trim gives you many features from the previous trim levels. You’ll also find leather and simulated suede upholstery, a further upgraded performance suspension, forged alloy wheels, special exterior styling elements, and features from both the Premium Group and Plus Group packages.

R/T Scat Pack:
If you are looking for even more power, then this trim is perfect for you. It comes with a 6.4-liter V8 engine that can produce up to 475 pound-feet of torque and 485 horsepower. You’ll also get added features like 8-way power front seats, Brembo high-performance brakes, and aggressive suspension settings. You can choose to add more features like leather and simulated suede upholstery, which comes with heated rear seats and heated and ventilated front seats.

Daytona 392:
If you loved the Daytona and R/T Scat Pack trims, then you’ll love the Daytona 392. This trim is the combination of both of those trim levels, and adds upgraded brakes.

SRT 392:
As one of the highest trims available, the SRT 392 has it all. You get rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, Pirelli high-performance tires, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, forged alloy wheels, a power-adjustable steering wheel, xenon headlamps, upgraded brakes, all-leather upholstery, and the Uconnect navigation system. Another option is the Technology Group package to give you even more features.

SRT Hellcat:
The biggest and most important part about the SRT Hellcat trim is the engine. This trim comes with a supercharged V8 engine that can create 650 pound-feet of torque and 707 horsepower. You’ll also gain features like upgraded steering, suspension tuning, and all of the features that were previously mentioned throughout the trim lineup.
